Right. Back from Destin (it was an impromptu kind of trip), and you won't believe what happened. First off, I WENT INTO THE WATER. It squicked me a bit, but I did it. Anyway, it worked a bit like this- swim in the ocean (water), shower off (water), swim in the pool (water), shower off (water), swim in the ocean (more water), shower off (still water), swim in the pool (the big H2O), and then go up to the room and take a real shower (guess what- water!!). That's a lot of dihydrogen monoxide.
But I digress. The really awesome happenstance was as follows. We were at Destin Commons, an outdoor mall. We're eating dinner when suddenly, my friend points out an Akatsuki cloak. I, of course, vault out of my chair, grab my camera, and nigh on tackle an unsuspecting Deidara cosplayer. Then, I cry big fangirly tears of joy because her friend is cosplaying Grell Sutcliffe!!!! The first Grell cosplayer I've ever seen! At a mall! So I took a picture with them, gave Grell-chan a hug, and returned to my delicious quattro formaggi pizza. Also, I went to B.A.M and got the last volume of Furuba, and the next volume of Ouran. And some other books of asskickery. All in all, it was a pretty bangin' trip. Except for that part where we got locked out of our room for an hour and a half and then accosted on the beach by weird drunk creepers. But hey, that's life. It happens. HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE COMES OUT ON WEDNESDAY!!! CHEA!!!!
